She married Roy W. Basting on December 23, 1931 in Danvers, Illinois.
Survivors at her death included her husband; one son Wilbur Basting; two daughters Mrs. Rhea Raasch and Mrs. Judy Mohr; one brother Delmar Zook; and six grandchildren.
Mrs. Basting was a member of East White Oak
Bible Church and the Dry Grove Homemakers Extension Association.
