Martha Nell Bennett, 84, of Kingsland, GA passed away March 1 in Jacksonville, FL. She was born July 8, 1932 in Mayday, GA to the late Carol Bentley Zeigler and Nolie Stenson Zeigler. She was the founding minister at Crossroads Pentecostal Church. She founded the church in 1995. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Tony Bennett and a daughter, Sonya B. Crocker. She is survived by 4-children: Sheryl Keene, Randy Bennett, Tyrone Bennett, and Donna Bennett; 4-sisters: Inez Zeigler, Elizabeth Palmetto, Ruth Turner & Betty Bennett; 2-brothers: Lawrence Ziegler & David Zeigler; Grandchildren: Scott Crews, Belinda Crews, Tonya Smitherman, Randy Bennett, Richard Bennett, Tonileigh Olson, Kimberly Saturday, Brian Crocker, Garrett Tanner & Jessica Tanner; Great Grandchildren: Timothy Holder, Madison Smitherman, Scott Crews, Dewayne Crews, Kaitlyn Crews, Joseph Crews, William Kemp, Abigail Kemp, Callum Crocker, Kadence Fitzherbert, Caylee Saturday & Caleb Olson; Great Great Grandchildren: Saren Crews, Kimber Crews. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 6 at 1:00 PM at Crossroads Pentecostal Church with Rev. Chad Middleton officiating. The family will receive friends from 11-1 prior to the service.
