BRENDA J. ZEGER, 58, of 215 Theodore Ave., Chambersburg, diedMonday, April 10,2000. in her home.
Born Nov. 15, 1941, in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of Seth "Sam" and Betty (McDonald) Kennedy of Chambersburg.
She was a 1960 graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School.
Prior to her death, Mrs. Zeger had worked as a medical receptionist for Falling Springs Medical Associates of Chambersburg. For 25 years between 1960 and 1993 she was an executive secretary for DESCOM and SIMA at Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg.
Mrs. Zeger attended Five Fork's United Brethren Church.
She had been a Bible teacher for BSF in Franklin County and After Five, a Christian women's group.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Stanley N. Zeger, Sr.; a daughter, Stephanie J. Ryder of Boonsboro, and a son Stanley N. Zeger, Jr. of Chambersburg.
Memorial services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Five Fork United Brethren Church, with Pastor Bill Shank and the Rev. Dr. Douglas Kelchner officiating. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery, Chambersburg.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services Saturday in the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Amencan Cancer Society, 452 E. King St., or Hospice of the Good Shepherd, 2700 Luther Drive, both of Chambersburg, Pa. 17201.
Arrangements were made by Kelso-Cornehus Funeral Home, Chambersburg.
