Chester J. Zakrzewski, 42, formerly of South Bend, died at 6pm Sunday in the Veterans Hospital, Portland OR. He had resided in Portland for the last six years. A former Studebaker Corp. employee, he was born on November 6, 1921, in South Bend.
He is survived by his father, Joseph Zakrzewski, of South Bend; two sons, Michael of Portland and Mark of Enterprise WA; a brother, Joseph Jr., of South Bend and three sisters, Mrs. Clara Nowak, Mrs. Evelyn Marlin and Mrs. Patricia Forker, all of South Bend.
He was a veteran of WW II.
