Mrs. Joseph Zabler, 65, of 735 N. 10th St., Manitowoc, died Monday afternoon
at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc, following a lingering illness.
Private funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Urbanek and Schlei
Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. Gervase Zanotti will officiate and burial
will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
The former LeNora Henrich was born July 4, 1894, at Watertown, Wis., daughter
of the late Casimir Louesa Henrich. She was educated in Watertown schools and
was employed as a legal stenographer before marriage. She was married at
Watertown Oct. 7, 1914, to Joseph Zabler and the couple established residence
at Manitowoc.
Mrs. Zabler was a member of Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, Shady Lane Home
Auxiliary, City Homemakers Club, First Presbyterian Church, United Presbyterian
Women's Organization and Eastern Star Chapter 196.
She is survived by the husband, a son, Joseph Jr., of Manitowoc; two daughters,
Mrs. Sherburn Meyer and Mrs. James W. Good of Manitowoc; a brother, Casimir of
Buffalo, N.Y.; three sisters, Mrs. Frank Goslin of Chicago, Miss Elizabeth
Henrich of Manitowoc and Mrs. Leo Smith of Columbus, Ohio and 14 grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Wednesday until the hour of
private service.
