ANDRESS, ELEANOR (Cartmill) Mrs Yount – (1906-2001) – Eleanor E. Yundt Andress, 95, of Springfield, Missouri, formerly of Lafayette, died October 14, at Maranatha Village, Springfield, Missouri, where she had been a resident since August. She was born August 26, 1906, in Stockwell and graduated from Stockwell High School. She also attended Indianapolis Beauty College. Her first marriage was t Carl F Yundt in 1925, and he preceded her in death in 1962. She married William W Andress on November 12, 1966, in Stockwell. He preceded her in death in 1987. Mrs Andress worked as a salesperson for Loeb's for 23 years, retiring in 1985. She was a lifelong resident of the Lafayette area and had lived at Westminster Village for the pas eight years. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and a former member of Stockwell Home Ec Club and Gideons Auxiliary. Mrs Andress is survived by a son, Carl J Yundt and his wife Rena D, of Springfield, Missouri; two brothers, Max Cartmill of El Cajon, California and Lowell Cartmill of New Hampshire; a sister, Alice Dickerson of Lafayette; eight grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons; two daughters; two brothers and a sister. Soller-Baker Funeral Home handled arrangements with burial at Fairhaven Cemetery in Mulberry.
