BEDFORD — Amy C. York, 29, 1823 Central Avenue, Bedford, died at 4 a.m. Sunday at a friend's residence.
Born Nov. 30, 1978, in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of George and Tommie (Glover) Daughtery. She married Marvin York.
She was a graduate of Bedford North Lawrence High School, and attended Vincennes University. She was a member of Dive Christian Church.
Survivors include her mother, Tommie McSoley of Bedford; one daughter, Abagail York, at home; one sister, Shannon Arnold of Bedford; and nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Kelley McSoley; her father, George Daugherty; and her stepfather, Gregory McSoley..
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Friday at the Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home with Minister Johnny Johnson, officiating. Burial will be at Green Hill Cemetery.
