Elizabeth Walker 95 died August 3, 2011 at the Jewish Home - New Haven after a lenghty illness.

She was the widow of Samuel Walker.

Elizabeth was born in New Haven, daughter of the late Henry and Sarah Huff Yarrell.

She was a graduate of Hillhouse H.S. and has been a faithful member of Immanuel Missionary Baptist Church for more than 75 years., where she was devoted to the Usher Board. Elizabeth worked for the Winchester Repeating Arms Co., and retired from the Olin Corp, after 45 years of service. She was a member of the Dixwell-Newhallville Senior Center.

She is survived by nieces, Sarah Hyslop and Shirley Edwards both of New Haven, nephews, Ellsworth Middleton, Harry, Ronald, and Kilborn Dixon. She was predeceased by
siblings, Henry, Joseph, and Benjamin Yarrell, and Marie Middleton, and Barbara Dixon.
