Mrs. Geo. Bristley died at the family home here Monday morning after an illness of a few days. She is survived by her husband; two sons, Leon and J.M. Bristley; one daughter, Mrs. R.M. Nicholson. The remains were buried Tuesday in the Catholic cemetery -- Rev. Father Casserly officiating.
Mrs. Bristley was 63 years of age. She was a member of one of the pioneer families and had lived here the greater part of her life. She possessed all the attributes of a good woman. She was kind and gentle and always ready to spread the mantle of sweet charity over the oppressed or unfortunate. She will be missed in all circles and the prayer that her final rest may be sweet and peaceful, is sincere and earnest. Liberty Vindicator, June 9, 1922
