He is survived by his companion of many years Carol Perkins of Greenwood; son Michael Wright of Indianapolis; brothers Hubert (Judy) Wright of Indianapolis, and Terry (Gwen) Wright of Camby; sisters Sue (Barry) Livingston of Camby, Janie (Willie Gray) Shoulders of Hendersonville, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by his brother Donald Wright.
Tommie was retired after working for several food companies including Sysco Foods, US Foods, Beasley Produce and many more companies. Tommie loved his sports, especially football and basketball.
Services will be 10:30 AM, Friday, June 8 in Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center with visitation 4:00 – 8:00 PM, Thursday, June 7 at the mortuary. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
