Survivors include children Wanda Ramie (Steve Ehrie) and Melvin Springer; grandchildren Sandy Ingram (Dude) Ingram; Brook (Scott)LaFontain, and Tracy Ramie (John McRoberts); brothers Clyde (Rebecca), Ray (Starla), and Don (Jennifer) Wright; sisters Anna (Charles) Spitler , Rita (Larry) Gormong , Freda (Alan) Tarrh, and Carol Lee; several great grandchildre; nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by sisters Lois Young and Polly Rector, and great grandson Kaleb Smith.
Retired from Lithonia Lighting in Crawfordsville.
He was a member of IBEW Local # 668, and Faith Wesleyan Church in Terre Haute.
He enjoyed camping, being outdoors, spending time with his family and attending church.
Funeral services noon Friday, August 2 at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, West Terre Haute, IN, with Pastor Matthew Wright officiating.
