A delightful wedding occurred at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Philip Roads on West Main Street Christmas day; the marriage of their eldest daughter, Miss Dolly Roads to Mr. C. L. Workman of Bainbridge.
Rev. J. II. Taggart officiated. There were present Mrs. John Blackstone and Mr. Claude Blackstone of Bainbridge, Miss Julia Koger of Greenfield and Enos Gore of Loudon. The ceremony was performed at high noon
after which came congratulations, a sumptuous feast and a time of social enjoyment. The bridal presents were numerous and useful.
