Charles Ray Workman, 61, of Olney, died at 7:10 a.m. Thursday, February 18, 2010, at his residence.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with Pastor Brady Farr officiating. Burial will be in Crest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery in rural Claremont.
Mr. Workman was born August 5, 1948, in Vincennes, Ind., the son of Charles Joseph and Evelyn Marie (Snyder) Workman. He married Mabel Varner on August 29, 1969. She survives.
He was a truck driver. He was a member of Eagles Lodge.
Mr. Workman is survived by his wife, Mabel Workman, of Olney; son, Henry Neal Griffin and his wife, Brenda, of West Salem; son, Stewart Griffin and his fiancée, Susan Medler, of Sumner; daughter, Cynthia Kay Sidwell, of Olney; daughter, Tonya Rae Workman, of Olney; son, Terry Dean Workman and his fiancée, Jodi Cantrell, of West Salem; brother, Gary Workman and his wife, Susie, of Olney; brother, Ronnie Workman and his wife, Barb, of Olney; brother, James Workman, of Olney; sister, Brenda Gosnell and her husband, Dean, of Olney; sister, Mary Bogard and her husband, Eddie, of Olney; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Joseph and Evelyn Marie Workman, and daughter, Tammy Renee.
