Son of Thomas Woolfolk (born in 1776 in Wilkes County, Ga.) and Fanny Wadsworth Woolfolk. Brother of Sowell Calhougn Woolfolk; John William Woolfolk, born in 1820; Captain Richard Franklin Woolfolk, Sr., born in 1835 (and murdered in 1887 along with his wife, her great Aunt and 6 children by a hired hand who was never convicted); and James Hamilton Woolfolk born in 1835 all in Bibb County, Georgia. He was married to Floride Crowell Woolfolk who was born in 1835 and died in 1908. Their children were Thomas Crowell Woolfolk born 15 Mar 1856 in Oswichee, Russell, Alabama; Amelia Cantey Woolfolk born 1 Dec 1857 in Brick Yard, Russell, Alabama; James H Woolfolk born 10 Oct 1860 in Oswichee, Russell, Alabama; Bessie Woolfolk born in 1864; Sarah Frances Woolfolk born 21 Aug 1867 in Woolfolk, Jones County, Georgia; and Elizabeth Leonard Woolfolk born 17 Nov 1871 in Woolfolk, Jones County, Georgia.
