Lois Mae Woodyard died after a three-month illness and battle with heart complications. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 62 years. Lois was the daughter of Claude Woodyard and Ruth Suthard Woodyard; and was the sister of Claudette Woodyard Weber, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her son and daughter and a nephew.

Lois grew up in Manassas, Va., and graduated from Osborne High School in 1949. She went on to work with the FAA in Washington, D.C. until her retirement. Lois was a devoted wife, sister, aunt and friend and never met a stranger that she did not like. Her gentle spirit and quiet manner served her well as she cared for those around her most of her life. Lois loved to read and could usually be found with a book somewhere close. Lois will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
