She attended Mt. Pleasant schools and was of the Baptist faith. She was a homemaker and enjoyed fishing, traveling on bus trips, visiting Florida and spending time with her grandchildren. For the last sixteen years, Mildred made her home with Doug and Cyndy where her daughter, Glenda and her two granddaughters, Faith and Elizabeth, who she helped raise, took care of her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Denzel; her parents; one sister Opal Cantril and four brothers; Gilbert Milks, Kenny Milks, Clifford Milks and James Milks.
