Wilma Jean Grimes, age 74, Coatesville, passed away Thursday afternoon, Dec. 13, 2012 at Hendricks Regional Health.

She was born Sept. 23, 1938 in Indianapolis, the daughter of Ralph and Letha Roe Wood.

She was a homemaker, a member of the Clayton First Baptist Church, and faithfully attended New Maysville Community Church.

She was a 1956 graduate of Clayton High School.

She is survived by her husband, Dallas Lew Grimes; son Byron Lew Grimes and wife, Louella, Belle Union; daughter Bonnie Jean Flater and husband, Shane, Danville; grandson Hunter Lew Grimes; granddaughter Addison Jean Flater; and sister Elnora Servies, Danville.

She was preceded by a daughter, Jean Ann Grimes.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 17 at the First Baptist Church, Clayton, with Larry Edwards officiating.

Friends may call at the church from 11 a.m. until time of service on Monday. Burial will follow in Fillmore Cemetery.

Arrangements are being handled by Bousley-Hays Funeral Home, Coatesville.
