She was survived by her sons, Ezra Carroll Ashley of Orleans, Indiana, Harold Glenn Henderson of Nevada, Robert Newell of Eubank, Kentucky, and Gerald Witt Ashley of Somerset, Kentucky; her daughters, Vivian Joaline Collier of Versailles, Kentucky, Pauline Faye Wilson of Somerset and London, Kentucky, and Rutheda Dean Reel of Warranton, Missouri; 22 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Witt and Elizabeth (Henson) Witt; her husband, Ezra Ashley; her brother, Samuel Witt; her half-brothers, Charlie Bell, William Bell, Herman Witt, and Clyde Witt; and her sister, Ruby Hansford Francis.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, April 22, 1998 at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Reverend Gerald Ashley and Reverend E.V. Carrier officiating.
