She was a homemaker, a life-long member of Christ Reformed United Church of hrist, Middletown, a member of Christe de Fille Sunday school class, and a charter member of the ladies auxiliary of Amvets Post 9, Middletown. She spent numerous hours as a volunteer at the Citizens and Homewood nursing homes and assisted and donated at Red Cross blood drives.
Surviving are two sons, Charles William Locke II, Berkeley Springs, WV; and Michael A. Locke, Frederick; two daughters, Bunny Cramer, Middletown; and Gail D. Owings, Baltimore; sister, Betty J. Wise, Homewood at Crumland Farms; 7 grandchildrena nd 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Gail D. Wise.
Services were held at Christ Reformed Church, Middletown; interment was in the church cemetery; arrangements were by Donald B. Thompson Funeral Home, Middletown.
