Helen Marguerite Wion/Wian was born 13 Sep 1891 in Altoona, Blair Co, PA. Her brother, John L. Wion is born 31 Dec 1894. By 1900 when the U.S. census is taken Meda and her 2 children are living in Bellefonte, Centre Co, PA with Henrietta Kline, Helen's maternal grandmother. She was baptised Easter Sunday, April 6, 1901 at St. John's Episcopal Church in Bellefonte, Centre Co, PA. 1910, Media Wion and her two children are living alone in Tyrone, Blair Co, PA, She married William Cleveland Little in 1915 at Tyrone, Clair County, but this marriage couldn't have lasted very long as she is in the 1920 census living with her mother, brother (John L. Wion), his wife and their children at Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan. In 1930 she married George C. Wells in Philadelphia, Philadelphia Co, PA with whom she remained married to the rest of their lives and lived in the Philadelphia area. To her brother's family she was known as Aunt Peg, and is remembered as being very hard of hearing, at least in her later years. She had no children of her own. In the Death Notice from The Detroit News of April 1, 1948 for Almeda (Kline) Wion, her daughter is listed as Mrs. Helen Wells of Philadelphia.
