Shirley Mae (Winslow) Cameron passed peacefully at the Autumn Village Nursing home in Worcester on April 23rd, 2012.
Shirley was born on November 20, 1917 in Worcester. She attended the Burncoat Street Elementry school and was a graduate of Commerce High School. Shirley worked as a secretary and in various accounting positions for several companies in the Worcester area including Heald Machine Company during WWII, Woodis Industrial Supply and Ramsdell Industrial supply. She was active in the Worcester County Extension Service and the West Boylston Historical Society.
A long time resident of West Boylston, Shirley was predeceased by her husband of 70 years, Ronald H Cameron and an infant daughter, unnamed.
Her life centered on her beloved husband, Ron, and her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and her extended family and friends. There was no greater joy for her than family gatherings, especially the traditional Winslow family Christmas Eve.
Burial will follow at the Mount Vernon Cemetery.
