Vickie Lynn Winrow Elzinga Thompson, age 34, died November 22, 1991 after a long battle with the disease of alcohol and drugs.
Born August 10, 1957 in Salt Lake City, Utah, a daughter of Elmer and Dorothy Reed Winrow. Married Alma Elzinga; he preceded her in death. Married Kevin Thompson. Graduated from Granger High School. Attended Salt Lake Community College.
She will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, friends, cousins, aunts, uncles and her faithful dog Amy Lou (Bubba).
Survived by husband; parents, all of West Valley City; grandmother, Anna Hamann Miller; four brothers and four sisters, Mrs. Don (Linda) Fleury; Connie Faddis; Mrs. Jack (Kathy) Petersen; Karla Gutierrez; Don and wife, Jacquie Winrow; Mike, Joe and Lee Winrow.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, 2 p.m. at McDougal Golden Rule Funeral Home, 4330 So. Redwood Road where friends may call Friday, 6-8 p.m. and Saturday, 1-1:40 p.m. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
