KOESTLER, Kristin Winegar A resident of Henderson, Nevada, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2011, at the age of 46. Born in Kansas City, Kansas, on May 4, 1965, to Karen (Hampton) Idstrom (Tom, husband) and Jerome Clark Winegar (Belcanto, wife). She was a graduate of Irondale High School in New Briighton, MN and a graduate of Concordia University in St. Paul, MN. She had been a special education teacher in Little Falls, Long Prairie, and Brainerd (all in Minnesota), and Las Vegas, Nevada. She loved her students and saw potential in each child. She referred to them as "my kids". She was plagued by chronic pain for many years, and we pray that she has now found peace. Kristin leaves her husband, Curt Koestler, of the home, her daughters, Allison Radziej (and Luke) of Kansas City, Missouri, and Caiitlin Federici of Downer's Grove, Illinois, and her son Seth Collins Koestler of the home. She is also survived by her brother, Jerome David Winegar of Port Townsend, WA; her half-brother, Jonathan R. Winegar-Mendez of Boston (Hyde Park), MA; and her step-sister, Devon Pohlman of St. Paul, MN. Also surviving are her niece, Ashlee Luke of St. Cloud, MN and her nephews, Nicholas and Nathaniel Winegar, both of Port Townsend, WA. On Monday, July 18, 2011, a Remembrance Gathering was held at Christ the King Lutheran Church in New Brighton, MN.
