Violet Wilson, 94, of Dayton, died Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Memorial North Park.
She was a lifelong resident of Rhea County, a member of Dayton First Baptist Church and the Crusaders Sunday school class, and the "Golden Girls Club." She worked at Winter Garden for many years and retired from Shipley's Super Market.She was preceded in death by her parents, Huey Alexander and Lewella Clark Wilson; two sisters, Covie Kaylor and Ovie Wilson; four brothers, and Elvis, Clifton, Coy and Hurley Wilson.Survivors include her daughter, Clara Wells of Columbia, Tenn.; son, Harold (Shirley) Stutzenberger of Ooltewah, Tenn; sister, Lois Bryant of Dayton; four grandchildren, Tony (Kathy) Karnes, Chuch Karnes, Allen Stutzenberger and Kelly Stutzenberger (Todd) Pharr; four great grandchildren, Sabrina, Angela, Tony and Trey; and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 20 in the chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Ewing and Pastor Mike Roberts officiating. Burial will be at Buttram Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 19
