Chestener Loretta Gorden, 94, passed away on July 3, 2017 in Riverside, California. She was born in Memphis, Tennessee on November 1, 1922 to James and Nellie (Hamilton) Wilson. She worked for many years in middle schools as an educator. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was married to the late Willie Gorden who passed away in 1988. She is survived by her children; Marshall Gorden of Hernando, Michigan; Ruby Charles of Riverside, California; Chestener Gorden of Moreno Valley, California; Debra Bright of Los Angeles, California; Anita Thomas of Antioch, California; Samuel Gorden of Moreno Valley, California.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 in Akes Family’s “Chapel of the Chimes” at 10 o’clock in the morning. Funeral service will be at 11 A.M. followed by graveside service in Riverside National Cemetery at 2 P.M.
