Elsie Legerta Wilson Farrier passed away Saturday, April 6, 2013 in Phoenix, at the age of 93.
She was born in Shadyside, Ohio to Oscar & Anna Wilson on May 15, 1919 & married Joseph Farrier on December 9, 1939.
Joe & Elsie had 2 children & settled in Phoenix in 1944. Elsie was a valued employee for Safeway for 40 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband Joe & is survived by 2 children, Tom (Laurie) & Becky (Ken); 6 grandchildren, Tommy Joe (Jamie), Heather (Tom), Johnny, Jason, Chad (Denise) & Tiffany (Carlos); 9 great grandchildren, Courtney, Carley, Nicolas, Tori, Tommy, Zachary, Tyler, Carlos, & Coco; & many nieces & nephews.
Known as "Grandma Pap-Pap" to her loved ones, she was a loving & caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother & aunt.
Graveside service will be held at Green Acres Cemetery, 401 N. Hayden Rd., Scottsdale, AZ 85252 on Friday, April 12, 2013 at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations made to Hospice of the Valley 1510 W. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014 or Reflections Hospice & Palliative Care, 1840 E. University, Mesa, AZ 85203.
