Mrs. Ruth Mae Ferguson of Crockett passed away Monday night in a local hospital after an extended illness. Mrs. Ferguson, age 65, was born on October 2, 1889, and was a lifelong resident of Crockett, and Houston County. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Crockett.

Survivors are the husband, Mr. J. A. Ferguson of Crockett; three daughters, Rubie Evelyn Ferguson Petty,wife of Benjamin Max Petty and Mrs. Milton Lowe of Crockett and Mrs. Kenneth Gant of Fort Worth; a son, James Ferguson of Weches, and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services tor Mrs. Ferguson were held at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning in the First Baptist Church of Crockett, with Rev. M. O. Davis and Rev. Charles W. McKamy officiating. Interment was in the Glenwood Cemetery

WalIer Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
