Estelle Williamson Barlow, 79, a homemaker, of Florence died September 3, 2006, at St. Dominic's Hospital in Jackson.
Funeral services were conducted on September 5 from the chapel of Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Mendenhall with Interment following in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery, Mendenhall. The Reverends Ron Gomillion and Don Nerrin officiated. Music was provided by soloist Eddie Dear and pianist Sue Dear.
She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Linda Harper, Larry and Evelyn Harper, and Bennie and Angela Barlow, all of Star; daughter, Dixie Grantham of Star; a brother, Milton Williamson of Magee; 19 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Abner and Emma Boggan Williamson; husband, Bernice Barlow; and seven sisters, Katie Mae Grubbs, Willie Bell Cockrell, Maggie Quinn, Arlee Walker, Myra Mangum, Audell Weeks and Ella Ree Entrekin.
Serving as active pallbearers for the funeral were Will Barlow, Aaron Barlow, Joshua Smith, Jacob Irby, Caleb Harper, Micah Grantham and Mike Davis. Honorary pallbearer was David D. Grantham.
