Born in Washinton state, she moved to Oak Hill,Ohio at the approximate age of 5. After graduation from Oak Hill High School in 1926, she moved to California with her parents. She married Arthur J Starks in 1933. She moved with her daughter Vicki and her family to Washington state in 1977. She welcomed the birth of her first great-granddaughter Chloe shortly before her death.
