WEST COLUMBIA, S.C. -- Maxie Faye Phillips, 46, of 200 Woodberry Road, Lot 23, West Columbia, died Thursday.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Neeses, with the Rev. William Jeffcoat and the Rev. Donald West officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Ms. Phillips was born in Orangeburg County, a daughter of the late Willie Woodrow Williams and Doris Azonia Sturkie Williams. She attended Broadacres Baptist Church and was a former resident of Swansea.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Angela Carter of West Columbia; two sons, Rango Williams of Neeses and Wyman Phillips of West Columbia; four sisters, Mrs. Willie Mae CHavis of Swansea, Mrs. Shirley Furtick of West Columbia, Mrs. Rita Jeffcoat of Orangeburg and Mrs. Patsy Reid of West Columbia; a brother, Lewis Williams of Lexington and seven grandchildren.
