Juanita Marie Meadows, 65, of Quicksburg, passed away Saturday, Jan. 9, 2016, at Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg. She was born May 7, 1950, in Quicksburg and was a daughter of the late Harold (Pete) and Velda (Silvious) Williams. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald F. Meadows.
Juanita was a seamstress at Wranglers for 19 years.
Juanita is survived by her daughter, Lisa Meadows and her son, Donald Meadows Jr., both of Quicksburg; three sisters, Larue Martin of Toms Brook, Shelby Bailey of Edinburg and Maxine Olson of New Market; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 8 at Valley Funeral & Cremation Service, Bowmans Crossing.
A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2016, at Cedar Grove Cemetery with Pastor Thomas Arner officiating.
Pallbearers will be Albert Handel Jr., Daniel Bailey, Glendon Meadows, William Meadows, Will Martin and Bobby Martin.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests burial funds in memory of Juanita, 14116 S. Middle Road, Edinburg, VA 22824.
Arrangements are in the care of Valley Funeral & Cremation Service.
