HOLLY RIDGE -- Ida Pearl Fisher, 91, of Holly Ridge, died Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday at St. Philips Episcopal Church with Revs. Timothy Dols and Preston Wells officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Fisher was a daughter of the late Lorenza and Etha West Williams. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Eldrege F. Fisher; one son, Murray E. Fisher; one brother, Paul Williams; and one sister, Janet Squires.
Survivors include two sons, Morris Fisher and his wife, Melvina, of Jacksonville and Eddie Fisher and his wife, Julie, of Burlington; two daughters, Judy Fisher Edens and her husband, Bobby, of Hampstead and Linda Fisher Pierce and her husband, Stacy, of Jacksonville; daughter-in-law, Betty Fisher of Holly Ridge; seven sisters, Lena Medlin, Clara Turner, Hazel Williams, Yvonne Hamilton, Betty Smith, Lilly King and Faye Johnson; fifteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends Friday morning prior to the service from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the church.
