Marie Williams Davis, 87, of Lincoln Park, Mich, formerly of Clinton, Ky, and Martin, died Thursday July 8, 2010, at an assisted living facility in Grosse Ile, Mich.
Services were Saturday at RC Aleks and Son Funeral Home in Lincoln Park, Mich. Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Houston Patrick officiating at Pleasant View Memorial Gardens in Fulton, Ky.
Davis was born Oct. 1, 1922, daughter of the late Everett and Betty Cupples Williams. She was the widow of Ollie Davis.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Karen Davis of Brownstown, Mich; two daughters and sons-in law, Sondra and Dave Ware of Grosse Ile, and Cindy and Steve Sarris of Ferndale, Mich; a brother Raymond Williams of Natick, Ma; a sister, Betty Sue Sams of St. Charles, Mo, and five grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Eugene, Fred, and Herbert Williams; and sisters, Katie Dudex and Verlion L. Williams McDearmon.
