Ella W. Fitchett, 75, of the 1000 block of Sean Drive, died Jan. 1, 1994, in Camelot Nursing Home.
She was a native of Halifax, N.C. She was the widow of King Fitchett and was a retired domestic worker. She was a member of New Weeping Mary Baptist Church and the Sunday School. She was a former member of First Baptist Church Logan Park, Norfolk, where she was a member of the Missionary Circle, Women's League and former superintendent of the church Sunday School.
Survivors include three daughters, Elois Fitchett Butler of Chesapeake, Glenda Fitchett Everette of Columbia, S.C., and Annie Benson of Landover, Md.; two sons, David Fitchett Sr. of Norfolk and Floyd Fitchett of Hampton; three brothers, Luther Williams and Haywood Williams, both of Enfield, N.C., and Kelly Williams of Newark, N.J.; and five grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at noon Wednesday, Jan. 5, 1994, in First Baptist Church Logan Park, Norfolk, by the Rev. John Smith. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. T.E. Cooke-Twilight Funeral Home, Suffolk, is handling arrangements. Processional to the church will leave from Sean Drive, Chesapeake, at 11 a.m. on the day of the funeral.
