Verma Almira Willden Vowles was born Feb. 14, 1912 to Edward Arthur and Emerette Olevia Ashworth Willden in Beaver, UT. Passed away Tues., Oct. 30, 2001 in Las Vegas, NV.

Married Leonard Clark Ray Jan. 1, 1930, divorced. Married Dallas McKinley "Bob" Vowles, July 28, 1945.

She is survived by children: Evelyn Joy Ray (Grant) McDonald, Bountiful, UT; Clark A. (Karan) Ray, Las Vegas, NV; Mary Verma Ray (James) Nunley, Midvale, UT; 12 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; step-children: Patricia Vowles (William) Spratling, Hacienda Heights, CA; Kaye Vowles Pankey, Boise, ID; Dean (Monica) Vowles, Seattle, WA; 10 step-grandchildren, 15 step-great-grandchildren, brother, Jay A. (Jerrolyn) Willden, Caliente, NV; sister-in-law Beatrice Willden, Beaver, UT; brother-in-law E.E. "Jim" (Pearl) Vowles, Tooele, UT.

Preceded in death by parents, brother and sisters: Ora Mae Robinson, Annie Elaine Neilsen, Edward Cecil Willden, Afton Olevia Roberts.

Retired employee of Allen's Cash Store, Caliente, NV.

Services will be Sat., Nov. 3, 2001 at 10 a.m. PST, Caliente Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, visitation Fri., Nov. 2, 2001 from 6-8 p.m. PST at the Wiscombe Funeral Home and one hour prior to services at the Chapel.

Burial at Mt. View Cemetery, Beaver, UT, Sat., Nov. 3, 4 p.m. MST. The family suggests donations to your local Hospice in lieu of flowers.

Verma Almira Vowles, 89, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 14, 1912, in Beaver, Utah. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Clark Ray, and one daughter, Mary Nunley, both of Las Vegas.

No local services are scheduled. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, handled arrangements.
