Anna E. Buettner, 87, died at 2:03 a.m. June 25, 2013, surrounded by her family.
She was born March 23, 1926, in Van Wert to William Henry and Ernestine "Tena" BeVard Wilkin, who preceded her in death. On Jan. 19, 1946, she married Donald J. Buettner, who died Nov. 26, 1973. On Nov. 22, 1997, she married Hugh E. Burnett, who died July 10, 2003.
Mrs. Buettner retired from Peoples Savings Bank/Wells Fargo, Van Wert. She was a member of Middle Point United Methodist Church, Middle Point, where she had been the organist for several years. She was a graduate of York High School.
Survivors include two daughters, Jane (Jeff) Maus, of Van Wert, and Sherry Buettner, of Lima; four grandchildren, Jason (Lindsey) Maus, Joseph (Elizabeth) Maus, Jessica Maus and Jennifer Maus; and three great-grandchildren, Hayden, Jackson and Dylan Maus.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Sylvester and John William Wilkin; and a sister, Ruby G. Rager.
Services will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at Cowan & Son Funeral Home, Van Wert. Pastor mark Fuerstenau will officiate.
