Those now living are Allie Brake of Marysville; Amos, at home; Oscar of Lima; and Mrs Della Gwynn, of Shoal Bay, British Columbia. Early in her girlhood days she gave her heart to God and united with the M.E. Church at North Greenfield, and ever afterward endeavored to lead the Christian life. She was a kind and affectionate wife and mother and an esteemed neighbor, and will be sadly missed by those who loved and knew her. The deceased is survived by her husband, four children, three grandchildren, four sisters, five brothers and by other relatives and friends who join with the immediate family in mourning her loss. "Farewell, mother, thou hast left us/And thy loss we deeply feel;/But 'tis God who hath bereft us,/He will all our sorrows heal." The funeral services were held December 13th at the North Greenfield M.E. Church and were conducted by Rev J.D. Sims. A large congregation of relatives and friends were in attendance. She was buried in the North Greenfield cemetery.
