Margaret Susan Ford, 87, former Homer resident, died April 15 in Champaign County Nursing Home, where she had resided for some time.

Born May 26, 1891, in McKee, Ky., she was a daughter of Philo and Anna St. John Wilder.

She married James W. Bray May 31, 1909. He died Nov. 14, 1916.

Her marriage to Arthur Ford took place Dec. 14, 1926. He preceded her in death in March, 1968.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Mrs. Tom (Glona) Rives of Deer Dodge, Mont., and Mrs. Harold (Joy) Eaton of Evansville, Ind., a son, Elmo Bray of Fairmount; 6 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Ford was preceded in death by a son and several brothers and sisters.

She was a member of Homer Presbyterian Church and was a 46-year member of the Gold Star Mothers group of Homer Unit 290, American Legion Auxiliary.
