Martha Wilbourne Lester, 75, of Salem, died Friday, April 6, 2012. Born August 22, 1936, she was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Lester in 2005; son, Robert Lester in 2001; and brother, James Wilbourne. She is survived by her daughter, Jane Lester, of Mount Pleasant, S.C.; her daughter-in-law, Linda Lester, of Mount Pleasant, S.C.; her grandchildren, Quinn Lester, of California, SPC Matthew Anderson, of Ft. Hood, Texas, Brandi Anderson, of South Korea; brothers, Vernon and Raymond Wilbourne, of Salem, Tom Wilbourne, of Greenville N.C.; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, April 14, 2012, at CommUNITY Church in Salem with Pastor Tom McCracken officiating.
