Following an attack of influenza a week ago last Sunday, which developed into pneumonia, Hattie C. Bergman, wife of George W. Wickman, died at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Wheeler, 112 N. Jay street, on Monday evening at 7:30 o'clock. She had been in poor health for about two years.
Mrs. Wickman was born at Ava on August 14, 1882, and had lived in Rome about one year, although she had resided here before that time. The time intervening was spent at Rochester. She was married in this city 16 years ago. In addition to her husband and parents she is survived by a sister, Mrs. Henry Thomas of this city, and a brother, Charles Wheeler, with the American Expeditionary Forces in France. Mr. Wickman is confined to his bed with pneumonia.
