Lee W. Wicker, 77, Buried Saturday
Funeral services for Lee Warthen Wicker, 77, of Miami, formerly of Sandersville, who died in Jacksonville, Fla., Friday, April 30 were held Saturday, May 1 at 3:00 o'clock at the Sandersville Baptist Church. The Rev. Jordan Holland, pastor of the church, officiated.
Mr. Wicker was born in Washington county son of the late John R. Wicker and Mrs. Georgianne Brown Wicker. He was an insurance agent for Mutual of Omaha, a member of the Sandersville Baptist church and a member of the Elk's.
Survivors include one daughter, two grandchildren and a large number of nieces and nephews.
Pall bearers were deacons of the Sandersville Baptist Church.
Interment was in the Old City Cemetery with Mayo Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
