ROBERT WHITWORTH
Robert C. Whitworth The family of Robert C. (Bob) Whitworth sadly announce the passing, at home, of their husband, father, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend on April 22, 2013. He was the husband (57-1/2 years) to SharonLee (Payette) Whitworth, and the father of Patricia Lee (Pat) Whitworth (deceased) and Robert C. (Rob) Whitworth, Jr. Bob was born in Tacoma in the TGH January 21, 1932, grew up in Tacoma, and went to school at McKinley, Gault, and Lincoln schools. He was in the Air Force from 1951 through 1955. Bob retired in 1997 from Interbake Foods (ABC) after 33 years as an accountant and purchasing manager. In 1998 he was diagnosed as having congestive heart failure. Over time he developed other serious complications. He liked spending time with family, friends, fishing with his son, RVing, reading, and crossword puzzles. At his request, there will be no funeral services. However, there will be an open house at the family home for family, friends, and neighbors at a later date to be announced.
