Anne Whittington Sjogren, cherished wife of John K. Sjogren of San Marino, Calif., loving mother of John Sjogren, Jr., Bedford, N.H., Suzanne Antcliff, Irvine, Calif., Karen Valente, San Dimas, Calif., Gary Sjogren, Bend, Ore. and Patricia Sjogren of South Pasadena, Calif.,went to Heaven on Monday, March 23, 1998. Born on July 13, 1922 in Roanoke, Va., Anne is also survived by eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She leaves her two sisters, Mary Elizabeth Goolsby-Mi and Jane Herndon of West Va.; her two brothers, David Whittington of Pennsylvania and Jack Whittington of Virginia.

Anne lived her life with a generous spirit and an extraordinary love for her family and friends, she had a gentle soul and her kindness for others has touched so many lives. She will be terribly missed, but her family is happy to know that after suffering with cancer, she is finally at peace.

Memorial services to be held 1 p.m. Thursday, March 26, 1998 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Covina, CA.
