Mr. Whittemore, died at the home of his son, James Whittemore. He was born in Dixfield, Sept. 13, 1882. He was the son of James E. and Annie Royal Whittemore.
He was graduated from Coombs High School in Bowdoinham. He was a member of the Grange, the Knights of Pythias, and the Baptist Church. He had been employed by Hood's Creamery in Charleston, Mass.
