Livermore Falls, Aug. 10--Funeral services for James B. Whittemore who died Monday at his home in North Livermore were held Wednesday afternoon at the L. P. Brown Funeral Home, the Rev. H. R. Yates of the Eaton Memorial Methodist Church officiated.
Bearers were the three sons, Earland, James and Donald Whittemore, and Donald Brown. Burial was at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Whittemore, died at the home of his son, James Whittemore. He was born in Dixfield, Sept. 13, 1882. He was the son of James E. and Annie Royal Whittemore.
He was graduated from Coombs High School in Bowdoinham. He was a member of the Grange, the Knights of Pythias, and the Baptist Church. He had been employed by Hood's Creamery in Charleston, Mass.
