Funeral services for J. D. Whitsel, 43, who died at his home, 801 Mimosa Street, at 1:30 a.m. Sunday, were held at the home of Mrs. F. M. Brick, 1213 Alston Avenue, at 10:30 a.m. Monday. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, three brothers, F. A., H. E. and W. L. Whitsel, all of Fort Worth, and one sister, Mrs. Tom Allen of Mineral Wells.

Mr. Whitsel's Will is Admitted to Probate
Fort Worth, Texas, Oct. 10 -- The will of James D. Whitsel, who died Sunday, was admitted to probate in the Tarrant County Probate Court Tuesday. The estate is valued at $30,000 and W. Archie Rogers is named independent administrator without bond.
Mr. Rogers is left the business known as the "Auto Market" at 1201 North Main street. The remainder of the estate is given to Warren L. Whitsel, brother; Harry E. and Fred A. Whitsel, half-brothers, and Mrs. Mollie Allen, half-sister.
