Frances Catherine (Whiteford) Blank, most recently resided in New Holland, PA, but lived most of her adult life in Phoenixville, PA. She was a daughter of the late James Montgomery and Orpha (Myers) Whiteford. Mrs. Blank was a graduate of Radnor High School. She was a former member of the First Presbyterian Church of Phoenixville, and was currently a member of the Evangelical United Methodist Church in New Holland. She was a member of the Embroidery Guild, the Order of the Eastern Star, and was a longtime volunteer for the American Red Cross at the Valley Forge Army Hospital. She had also been involved with coordinating rides for those in the Phoenixville area in need of transportation to appointments. Mrs. Blank enjoyed ceramics and sewing, making many dresses and items for her daughters and grandchildren. Mrs. Blank is survived by two daughters, Frances O. Blank of New Holland and Linda S., wife of Robert Glaum Jr. of Chester Springs; two grandchildren, Matthew R.W. Glaum of Chester Springs and Sarah C. Glaum, companion of Chris Andre of Brooklyn, NY; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one sister, Hope Whiteford Monsay Ryan.
