Daughter of Thomas Brisbane White and Margaret Carchrie.

Born April 25, 1895, in Greenock, Scotland. (from Thomas White naturalization) Arrived in New York on ship Caledonia on Jan 21, 1913 with her brother, Thomas. Joined their father at 99-103 Nassau St, Brooklyn, NY.

Listed in 1915 New York State Census, Kings County, New York City, age 19, at 29 Coffey St, living with father Thomas, 49, mother Margaret, 40, and siblings Thomas Jr, 16, Mary, 14, William, 12, and Katherine, 1. Thomas worked as a sailmaker. Daughter Margaret worked as a laundry helper. Thomas Jr. worked as an electrician helper. All born in Scotland and listed as aliens, except Katherine who was born in the USA. Also living there was Margaret's mother, Margaret Carchrie, 60 (actually 65), born in Scotland. Thomas had been in the USA 7 years. Margaret, Mary, and William had been in the USA 3 years. Daughter Margaret, Thomas Jr., and Margaret Carchrie had been in the USA 2 years.

Charles married at age 26, Margaret at 24.

Both Charles and Margaret had pending naturalization applications. Charles born in Canada. Margaret born in Scotland. Margaret Lillian born in New York.
