Graveside services for Jean Smith will be held on Saturday, April 26, at 9:00 a.m. at Greenlawn Southwest Cemetery. Pastor Garth Black will officiate. A Memorial service will follow at 10:30 a.m., at Westside Church of Christ, 7300 Stockdale Hwy. Jean loved to go golfing. She was a member of the Kern River and North of the River Golf Clubs. Jean is survived by her husband of 62 years Orland W. Smith; daughters, Helen Baker and husband, Charles from Tucson, AZ, Linda Maltby and husband, Dennis of Bakersfield and Valeta Wilde of Bakersfield; and son, Vincent C. Smith and wife, Carey from Camarillo, CA. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great- grandchildren. The family wishes to give a special thank you to a wonderful help-mate and friend, Romy Romero.
