Jewel Angeline Wherry, age 87, of Warren, Arkansas died Wednesday, January 25, at Bradley County Medical Center. She was born June 12, 1918 in Bradley County, Arkansas a daughter of the late Noel Williams, Sr. and Huey Phillips Williams. She was a housewife and member of Westside Baptist Church. Surviving is her husband Ray Robert Wherry whom she married on December 10, 1938; 2 sons Larry Wherry, Warren, Ark. and Kenneth Ray Wherry, Wilmington, Ill; 1 daughter Beverly Forrest, Warren, Ark; 3 sisters Shirley Doggett, Wagoner, Okla, Sue Matthew and Bobbie Butler both of Little Rock, Ark; 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Brothers Noel Williams, Jr., Hurley Williams, Clyde Williams and sisters Marjorie Townsend and Martha Ballentine also preceded her in death. Funeral services were 1:30pm Saturday, January 28, at Frazer's Chapel with Rev. Billy West and Rev. Billy Gene West officiating. Janice Sullivan was organist and soloist was Pam West. Burial was in Ebenezer Cemetery near Warren by Frazer's Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Robert Forrest, Joshuah K.
