Mildred was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., on Sept. 25, 1913. She was the daughter of the late Jacob and Minnie (Beyerkohler) Westrich. She worked for the Waterbury tax office as a tax clerk for many years until her retirement.
She is survived by two daughters, Marie and her husband, Edwin Soltysiak, of Orange, and Ruth George of Milford; two grandchildren, Mark Soltysiak and Linda Foster; and one great-granddaughter, April. Predeceased by two sisters, Marie Westrich and Marie Jaspers.
Arrangements: Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Friday, Sept. 18, 2009, at Old Pine Grove Cemetery, 390 Meriden Road, Waterbury, at 11:00 a.m. There are no calling hours.
